Special Issue: Curriculum and Pedagogy

The JOCW is a quarterly journal which covers articles on extended fields of social science and humanities. The Coming issue (Vol 2, Issue 2, to be published in December) will consist of short papers on Curriculum and Pedagogy. This special issue is devoted to supporting internationalization of higher education process by means of globalized and standardized practices in curriculum and pedagogy. You can write a short manuscript explaining what you teach and how you teach. Authors should maintain APA style for in-text citations and preparing reference list.

Authors are requested to briefly mention scope and content of a course, its suggested major books, relevance to the contemporary time, aim of the course, benefits for the learners if anything special, assessment method, duration of the course. Teaching methods that you apply to teach this course can be numerous for example, teacher centred learning, learner centred learning, case based learning, cooperative learning, problem based learning, applying ICT or web-based platform inside or outside the classroom, story-telling, students’ engagement so and so forth. Authors are also encouraged to write their creative teaching methods.

Please note that ‘title’ of the course should be mentioned in the title of your short paper. For example, “Teaching ‘Introduction to Sociology’ to the Undergraduate Students at International Business School in Indonesia”.
